Reborn, the sparky synth lined new single from Rae Morris could not be more true to it’s title. After listening to the track I felt a strong new direction for the loveable Blackpool born musician.
After her album ‘Unguarded’ was critically acclaimed in 2015 the young artist left fans with a taste for more, and has delivered a healthy serving. ‘Reborn’ has already lead to huge anticipation from fans for the release of her second album.
The track builds to a crescendo of synth and drums accompanied by the unique and unmistakable vocals of Rae Morris who once again, presents an emotive record. Listening, you can truly hear the concept of rebirth through the melody alone, as Morris builds her vocals so naturally from soft to powerful, just as a child grows from meek and mild to a firm and forceful adult.
It’s an awesome come back with a beautiful and picturesque video to accompany the record. I can see many an empowered woman cruising, soft top down along a coastal road on a summers day hitting repeat, and hope that there is.
