Opening on 24 June and running until 2 January, this major new exhibition brings Sir Ken Dodd’s extraordinary world of comedy, laughter and happiness to Blackpool in spectacular style. Packed with iconic costumes, famous tickling sticks, rare memorabilia, original notebooks, hilarious props and interactive experiences, it’s a joyful journey through the life and career of the legendary “Master of Mirth”.
Created in partnership with National Museums Liverpool and The Ken Dodd Charitable Foundation, Happiness! is a nationally significant exhibition and following its hugely successful run at Museum of Liverpool, the exhibition comes exclusively to Showtown – making Blackpool its one and only destination beyond Liverpool.
