This is a Life Drawing course unlike any other! Artist Mike Cassidy will be here again to lead you through an examination of mark making and the human condition.
Joined this time, by renowned performance artist Kris Canavan, the course will also explore the link between performance art and mark-making. You’ll learn about form and space and how to draw from life, and you’ll use mark-making to take part in, and document art performances.
In this course, you’ll get the chance to develop your mark making skills in representing the human form. You’ll explore drawing under a wide range of different light conditions. You’ll have the chance to direct the model yourself, playing with coloured and directed light to create your own compositions and experiment with the effects that light can have on your finished work.
