Join Blackpool Grand’s official photographer Sean Conboy for a unique Photographic Sessions. Cowboy will cover a full explanation of tilt and shift camera movements, how to use flash and LED lighting to help light interiors, a practical demo of an interior shoot, the chance to use professional equipment. Only six places are available on this five hour course.

    Antonia Charlesworth Stack is a journalist and editor from Blackpool. She was deputy editor of Big Issue North magazine and is editor of Blackpool Social Club. Antonia is also the founder of Reclaim Blackpool, a women's safety campaign that began life as an article she wrote for Blackpool Social Club. She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.

‘I photograph comedians!’ is an exhibition at Showtown which celebrates British photographer Andy Hollingworth. His incredible photographs of some of Britain’s most iconic comedians feature in Showtown’s first major exhibition.

Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!

Tickets: Free but there is charge* to visit the rest of the museum.
