An multi-venue exhibition reflecting the people, places and heritage of Fleetwood will share stories, words and images gathered and created by artist Hannah O’Hara in collaboration with Fleetwood residents as part of a co-commission with Photoworks. On 4th Nov from 1pm there will be an exhibition tour across all venues followed by an opening reception at the North Albert Grill.

    Antonia Charlesworth Stack is a journalist and editor from Blackpool. She was deputy editor of Big Issue North magazine and is editor of Blackpool Social Club. Antonia is also the founder of Reclaim Blackpool, a women's safety campaign that began life as an article she wrote for Blackpool Social Club. She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.

The Grundy launches the prestigious New Contemporaries 2023 exhibition which includes 55 exhibiting artists selected by internationally-renowned artists through an open call that received over 1,900 entries. The artworks will be presented thematically within the Grundy’s gallery spaces. A variety of supporting events will also be open to the public including artist talks and workshops.

Work by internationally recognised artists, Laura Daly, Shezad Dawood, and RA Walden presented onsite at the Grundy and offsite via Augmented Reality. These neon and new media works explore time, tides and the site of lost bandstands. Shezad Dawood and RA Walden are presented as part of Hybrid Futures. Laura Daly is presented in collaboration with The University of Salford Art Collection.

Elizabeth Bullock is an artist, poet and writer inspired by her love for nature. With a degree in natural history illustration from university, she comes from a family of artists. Her style varies, using pastels, pencils, watercolors, and inks. See her solo exhibition of art and poetry throughout November.
