The team behind House of Wingz are opening up Ferny House on the promenade for a series of LGBTQ+ events that invite you to Have Pride in the Seaside. Hosted by artist Iz Durose, the Galentine’s paint & sip is for all the femmes in the house. Get together with the gals on val’s weekend to express yourself through a guided painting session. All materials are included as well as a complimentary arrival drink. The bar is open for any extras you may desire.

    Antonia Charlesworth Stack is a journalist and editor from Blackpool. She was deputy editor of Big Issue North magazine and is editor of Blackpool Social Club. Antonia is also the founder of Reclaim Blackpool, a women's safety campaign that began life as an article she wrote for Blackpool Social Club. She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.

โ€˜I photograph comedians!โ€™ is an exhibition at Showtown which celebrates British photographer Andy Hollingworth. His incredible photographs of some of Britainโ€™s most iconic comedians feature in Showtownโ€™s first major exhibition.

Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!

Tickets: Free but there is charge* to visit the rest of the museum.
