Open on Friday and Sunday, this event explores people’s memories of the theatre while discovering the new. There will be a self-guided audio tour of the building, exploring the rich history of the creative space and site as a place for cultural entertainment (which celebrated 100 years in 2022). There will be an opportunity for people to share their stories of the place from its role as a cinema to a music venue and nightclubs. Poets and writers will collect these and then on Sunday 17th at 7pm they will share the stories and poems created from people’s memories of the place. Read more about the event here.
