End date: 17 Sep 2023
Time: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: The Old Electric

Open on Friday and Sunday, this event explores peopleโ€™s memories of the theatre while discovering the new. There will be a self-guided audio tour of the building, exploring the rich history of the creative space and site as a place for cultural entertainment (which celebrated 100 years in 2022). There will be an opportunity for people to share their stories of the place from its role as a cinema to a music venue and nightclubs. Poets and writers will collect these and then on Sunday 17th at 7pm they will share the stories and poems created from peopleโ€™s memories of the place. Read more about the event here.
