See the town transformed into a winter wonderland again this year with the annual Poulton Christmas festival. Festivities will run between 12noon and 9pm,
Lighting of the nativity crib is at 4pm followed by the switch-on of Christmas tree lights. Santa arrives at 5pm, with attendees welcome to join him on stage for a singalong.

    Antonia Charlesworth Stack is a journalist and editor from Blackpool. She was deputy editor of Big Issue North magazine and is editor of Blackpool Social Club. Antonia is also the founder of Reclaim Blackpool, a women's safety campaign that began life as an article she wrote for Blackpool Social Club. She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.

‘I photograph comedians!’ is an exhibition at Showtown which celebrates British photographer Andy Hollingworth. His incredible photographs of some of Britain’s most iconic comedians feature in Showtown’s first major exhibition.

Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!

Tickets: Free but there is charge* to visit the rest of the museum.
