Queer Amusements: Zine Workshop

Get your pens and crayons ready and join Teddy Ford, aka The Bearded Sewist, for a casual zine making workshop. A zine is most commonly known as a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images. Because of its un-restrictive nature, zines have historically been adopted by marginalised and undocumented communities. Arts and activism groups have often found safe space in zine-making and the process has often been the driving force at the beginning of whole subcultures such as Queercore and Riot Grrrl.
