Calling all students! Join Aviel from Empowerment charity for an empowering and thought-provoking activist session focused on tackling misogyny within schools and/or colleges. This gathering aims to bring together passionate individuals who believe in gender equality and are committed to fighting against the pervasive issue of misogyny and the harm it leads to in our society. This session will delve into the complex nature of misogyny, exploring its roots, manifestations, and impact on individuals and communities. Through interactive discussions, informative presentations, and engaging activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by women and girls locally.

Reclaim Blackpool - Mapping Sexual Harrasment

    Antonia Charlesworth Stack is a journalist and editor from Blackpool. She was deputy editor of Big Issue North magazine and is editor of Blackpool Social Club. Antonia is also the founder of Reclaim Blackpool, a women's safety campaign that began life as an article she wrote for Blackpool Social Club. She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.
