Join Artist and Educator Ann Carragher in a mindful walk and workshop, connecting with the Blackpool Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) area.ย Considering notions of a sense of place and belonging, as well as connecting with the area through listening, touch and thoughts, youย will record the walk in a variety of ways such as drawings, writing, photos and memory.ย Back in the studio, you will explore commonalities and share your experiences. The experiences and the information gathered will then be used to create an artistic โ€˜mapโ€™ in response to the walk. This can be done individually or collectively.
