Stunning fireworks displays are set to music and take place over the beach in front of The Blackpool Tower. India, Switzerland and Italy will battle it out over the three free events.

She's a contributing author to the Lancashire Stories anthology with her story about a Blackpool performer, The Call of The Sea. The book is available for free in libraries across the county.

โ€˜I photograph comedians!โ€™ is an exhibition at Showtown which celebrates British photographer Andy Hollingworth. His incredible photographs of some of Britainโ€™s most iconic comedians feature in Showtownโ€™s first major exhibition.

Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!

Tickets: Free but there is charge* to visit the rest of the museum.
