Part of Blackpool Film Festival, join student filmmakers from Blackpool School of Arts BA (Hons) Filmmaking as they screen a selection of trailers and graduation films from this year’s Level 6 cohort to audiences for the first time. Introduced by the filmmakers themselves, the event will include two panel discussions with the filmmakers, one after each set of films/trailers. A great opportunity to find out what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ and support young aspiring filmmakers.

Help volunteers at Park View 4 U create an amazingly colourful pollinator friendly habitat as part of their Wildflower Meadow Day. You will find them in the Community Garden 10.30am-3pm where they will have a range of wildflower and gardening activities for you to get involved with.

Presented by Wyre Council, Wanderland promises to be a fun filled day for the whole family to enjoy. With three individually themed fun-filled entertainment zones to explore, interactive workshops to take part in and a huge main stage with live music and performances from family favourite stars. Wyldwood, Dreamfields and the Fun Field will have walkabout acts, accessible activities, selfie stations, rides, games, free gifts to create and take home. There are mermaids to meet, giant inflatables to enjoy, a creepy crawlies roadshow, face painting, giant games to play and so much more!
Blackpool’s Mayor will host an evening of dining, dancing and revelry to raise funds for her chosen charities of 2024, Counselling in the Community & The Blackpool Foodbank. This year’s theme is Gothic Burlesque, and the evening promises to be a vaudeville night of entertainment for two great local causes.
