Gallery: St Annes Kite Festival

This year’s Kite Festival at St Annes took place over the weekend and it was another crowd-pleaser.  As well as the usual array of flying animals, including an octopus, flying cows, dogs and hippos, visitors were treated to the new addition, Oscar – the world’s biggest teddy bear!  There was a teddy bear parachute drop, sponosred by Storytellers Inc book shop, and a sandcastle building competition.  Live music was provided by World Wise Samba and the event was exactly the sort of head-turning spectacle that draws the crowds year on year.  Jill Reidy, of Two Old Birds With Cameras, was on hand to capture the awe-inspiring sights.
