Sunday Bandstand at Stanley Park

Sunday 27 July was another top turn out for the Stanley Park Bandstand.  This week’s line up included Kudos, a rock band covering everything from Pink Floyd to Snow Patrol, The Blue Waves, a four piece with an alternative vibe, Lithium Glass Road, acoustic and vocals with loads of original sounds, and John Banks, acoustic singer/songwriter.   If you want to be relaxing in the sun to some terrific home-grown music next weekend, check the Friends of Stanley Park page for dates and events.  There is something on every Sunday throughout the summer.  Next week brings the prestigious Marton Operatic Society to the bandstand, from 2pm.

In the meantime, please enjoy these glimpses of the action, courtesy of Jill Reidy, of Two Old Birds With Cameras.
