Lost Inventions, Fantastic Creations

Lost Inventions, Fantastic Creations (4-12 October) is the brain child of Adrian Pritchard and his company, Osmosis Machine.  It is supported by LeftCoast and they are hoping it will be the trial run for a science festival in Blackpool.  The exhibition, which sits astride the creative categories of invention and art, can be found at the Baseline Studios in the Houndshill Shopping Centre.  As Adrian says, “Inventors are a bit like artists They are creative entrepreneurs and often eccentric individuals with a special gift for seeing the world in new ways, problem solving and applying their practical skills and knowledge.”

The exhibition is the culmination of months of workshops and planning for the Adrian and his team of inventors (Duncan Roberts) and artists (Antony Hall, Mark Peatfield, Michael Cassidy and Sean Payne).  Claire Griffiths went down to the preview on 3 October to capture the sights of this daring new project.
