When I tell you that I was on the edge of my seat for the Circolombia performance at the Showzam! Carnival Ball, I mean I was perched, hand on mouth and unable to contain the loud (occasionally expletive) excalamations that arose when these guys stunned the room.  The audience bopped to the live musical performances, which were bold and upbeat, and the athletes (for they are most definitely that) swayed and danced their way through stupendous feats with broad smiles and such casual postures that when their eyes were level with our own (my partner and I were sitting on the first floor balcony) it seemed perfectly natural.

There is a review of Circolombia’s full show from Elizabeth tomorrow but let these images by Jill Reidy whet your appetite and then get your tickets booked for the main event.  It’s running until Wednesday at the Blackpool Tower Circus and I wouldn’t want you to miss out.
