Grundy Art Gallery in partnership with Blackpool Library Service are providing two opportunities for Children and Young People to take part in Arts Award starting this July.
The See & Do Saturday workshops are now Arts Award Discover and Explore sessions which means that all children aged 6-12yrs taking part in the sessions will have the opportunity to complete their Discover, and then Explore award through the programme. The £3 fee per child, per workshop will go directly towards the cost of official log books and moderation.
Furthermore, Grundy Art Gallery are now recruiting young people age 11+ years to take part in this years combined arts summer Bronze Arts Award programme. This year’s programme has been designed by other young people taking part in the award at Silver level and includes workshops in dance, drama, and visual arts as well as trips to arts events and venues in the North West. The one-off fee of £19 covers the cost of moderation.

- 25 July 10.30am-12pm – Disco Drawing dance workshop using experimental mark making
- 22 August 10.30am-12pm – Lovely Letters collage and printmaking session exploring text
- 31 October 10.30am-12pm – Creepy Characters puppet making workshop for Halloween
- 5 December 10.30am-12pm – Fancy Festive Fund session creating Christmas themed crafts
