Throughout October, Blackpool Museum Project, in partnership with Blackpool Libraries and Grundy Art Gallery, are putting on a series of evening classes in creative writing, fashion and design using the Illuminations as the inspiration. Full details are on the attached flyer.

Join Lisa Wigham for a wax casting and poetry writing workshop. Please bring along a small object which could fit inside a match box and holds meaning for you.

8 October 2015, 19.30-21.00 £3 Meet at Grundy, class at Central Library
Work with Spoken Word artist Mark Grist to explore the Grundy’s new light-themed exhibition and create poems inspired by the collections.

12 October 2015, 18.00-20.00 £3 Meet at Grundy, class at Central Library

Join fashion author and tutor at RCA, Emmanuelle Dirix, for an evening of fashion design around the theme of light.

15 October 2015, 18.00-20.30 at the Lightworks Depot Amy Johnson Way Blackpool £10
You can explore neon light with artist Richard Wheater using the Illuminations collections as inspiration. This class is £10.
