When the Other Worlds Festival opened earlier this month in Blackpool residents and individuals alike witnessed art fuelled music sprinkled with punk, poetry and performance; plus old skool rave nestled within a vast array of creativity and musical delight.
Following on from last years’ festival, the organiser Rick and Carlito from Must Die Records took the event even further. With live sound installations based in South Blackpool at Blackpool Library and the Grundy Art Gallery, and in its now spiritual home of Bootleg Social, the festival was designed to be a treat for the senses.

‘I photograph comedians!’ is an exhibition at Showtown which celebrates British photographer Andy Hollingworth. His incredible photographs of some of Britain’s most iconic comedians feature in Showtown’s first major exhibition.
Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!
