When the Other Worlds Festival opened earlier this month in Blackpool residents and individuals alike witnessed art fuelled music sprinkled with punk, poetry and performance; plus old skool rave nestled within a vast array of creativity and musical delight.
Following on from last years’ festival, the organiser Rick and Carlito from Must Die Records took the event even further. With live sound installations based in South Blackpool at Blackpool Library and the Grundy Art Gallery, and in its now spiritual home of Bootleg Social, the festival was designed to be a treat for the senses.
A huge line up of exciting artists played over the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our gallery explores Saturday’s foray into ‘out there sounds from out there’…
