Preview: Chicago Blues Brothers

Blues lovers can finally dig out their pork pie hats and sunglasses once more and prepare for a truly fantastic feel-good night out as the world-class tribute act, The Chicago Blues Brothers, stomp into Blackpool Grand Theatre on Tuesday 3 May.

This legendary and highly acclaimed show tours all over the world, but for 2016 The Chicago Blues Brothers are bringing their brand new Jailbreak Tour to the Grand Theatre. Featuring over 30 classic songs from the Blues Brothers movies, which have enjoyed phenomenal success world-wide, this looks set to be an unforgettable night of blues, motown and soul that will have everyone up on their feet.

This revamped new stage production of the show features all the hits from James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Reading and more, including ‘Everybody Needs Somebody’, ‘Soul Man’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Shake a Tail Feather’.

There’s sure to be laughter, singing and dancing a-plenty, complete with a nine-piece live band in this highly charged, two-hour party of a show. It’s only on for one night so be sure to book your seat (not that you are likely to be sitting very much) as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.

The Chicago Blues Brothers play at Blackpool Grand Theatre on Tuesday 3 May. Tickets are available to book online, in person from the Box Office or by calling 01253 290190.
