Chris Ramsey

The North Pier Theatre has a long tradition of launching the careers of comedians.  Cannon & Ball, Billy Pearce and, more recently, Greg Davies have all played to a packed house at this iconic venue.  This May brings the rising talent of television and stage, Chris Ramsey, to the end of the pier attraction with his hit show, Feeling Lucky.  The show was a sell-out success at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre and is sure to be just as popular when it comes to Blackpool.

Chris is delighted to be playing Blackpool, saying:

You’re not really a proper comedian until you’ve done a Blac1d7b33fc26ca22c2011aaa97fecc43d8kpool show, let’s be honest. And to be doing the end of pier is even better…

Chris is a regular on TV comedy shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice.  He is an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and has recently hosted his own programme, Chris Ramsey’s Comedy Fringe, as well as starring alongside Vic Reeves in the BBC sitcome Hebburn.

Feeling Lucky is on at the North Pier Theatre on Saturday 25th May at 8pm.  Tickets cost £15.

Tickets for Feeling Lucky are available from the North Pier Box Office on 01253 623304, by visiting the website www.NorthPierBlackpool.co.uk, or via the 24-hour Ticketmaster Hotline 0844 847 2452 or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
