Love Theatre Day Discounts At The Grand

Grand Theatre

With Halloween and Bonfire Night behind us the next major focus for many is, increasingly these days, Black Friday. But what if you don’t want to get in a rugby scrum for a plasma television, or buy lots of consumer goods that neither you nor your nearest and dearest really need? If you are thinking that an artistic pre-Christmas sale is more your thing then tomorrow’s Grand Theatre tie in with Love Theatre Day is for you.

On 16 November theatres across the UK are celebrating the aforementioned Love Theatre Day, an online celebration of British, European and global theatre. To mark this the Grand Theatre is offering a 24 hour only twenty per cent discount on no fewer than twenty six productions they are hosting. Five of these are ahead of the festive season, the others run through to Shirley Valentine in September 2017 so there are plenty of Christmas gift options.

There is something for everyone in the shows covered by this offer. From classics like Nell Gwynn and the opera La Boheme through modern music like Vampires Rock and children’s productions like Mr Bloom and Babe the Sheep-pig, much of the Grand’s richly diverse programme is included in the sale. With the exception of the upcoming pantomime Aladdin the discount applies to all performances of all shows.

During Love Theatre Day The Grand also invites you to join them on Twitter. There will be behind the scenes action, and fantastic prizes are up for grabs to be won throughout the day. Your memories of your visits to The Grand are wanted as part of this celebration, tweet to @Grand_Theatre using the hashtag #LoveTheatreDay.
