The Grand hosts Mr Bloom’s (Ben Faulks) first ever theatre tour, turning the hit CBeebies TV show into a live stage performance. It’s promised that this keeps all of the original show’s fun, inspiration and educational values but with a brand new storyline: Mr Bloom and his veggies are hosting a royal visit! Let’s hope the illustrious visitor isn’t too fond of vegetable soup.
Mr Bloom, will be joined by his friends: Margaret, Joan, Colin, Raymond and Sebastian, the lovable Wee MacGregors, and not forgetting Mr Bloom’s trusty machine ‘The Compostarium’. With song, play and interaction, this show will entertain parents and tiddlers alike! If you’re not familiar with the TV show, I promise that all this will become clear. It’s a while since our son watched CBeebies, but I used to like watching Mr Bloom’s Nursery. What’s not to like about a children’s programme that teaches kids about where food comes from and even how to grow it?
Mr Bloom’s Nursery Live will be sprouting up at The Grand Theatre, Blackpool on March 12th with two daytime performances. For more information and to book, check out the website.
