Cyber-attacks, Brexit, Trump, the slow impending heat death of the universe, there seems to be a lot less to laugh at these days. What can be done to combat this grim state of affairs, who can save us from this ever present ennui? Well it seems the Grand Theatre can.
On Friday 2nd June The Grand is hosting the Laugh Out Loud Club, an evening of top rate comedy which is guaranteed to blow away the misery of an ever creeping 21st century angst. Four comedians will gracing the stage, Sean Meo, Chris Cairns, and Liam Pickford, all multi award winning stand ups will be doing the honours of entertaining us.
All the acts are top rank and have a slew of TV and live appearances under their belts. All of this merriment will be under the steady (yet funny) hand of MC, up and coming comedian Damion Larkin.
Tickets are a snip at £15.50 which works out at £3.87 an act, you’d struggle to find better value than that for an evening of live entertainment so get your tickets while you can as they will be selling fast.
Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club is at the Grand Theatre Studio on Friday 2 June. For more information or to book tickets visit blackpoolgrand.co.uk
