Quiz Time: There’s no business like show business!

From challenging times, there often emerges unexpected comfort and the increased sense of community and wealth of support available online has been a relief to many throughout the period of lockdown. Inspired by this community spirit, the students of Blackpool and the Fylde College are bringing Blackpool together to participate in the, ‘Big Blackpool Quiz.’

The quiz is hosted on the B&FC Student’s Union Social Media every week on Wednesdays at 8pm. Streaming live from YouTube, the students involved are raising money for NHS Charities Together. This week sees their 7th instalment and they are hoping to draw more support than ever with special guest, B&FC alumni and West End star Jodie Prenger. What a fitting addition to this week’s musical theatre-themed quiz.

Callum Morley, the Student Engagement Co-ordinator at the College who will be hosting the quiz had this to say; “We don’t just want our students to get involved, this is for everyone in Blackpool to uplift people’s spirits and create a wider sense of community. Celebrating our small seaside town and all it has to offer.”

To show support for our local young people and support a great cause, join in with the quiz on Blackpool and The Fylde College Students’ Union’s Youtube channel this Wednesday at 8pm.
