Free Workshops with Artist Kai-Oi Jay Yung at Grundy Art Gallery

Grundy Art Gallery’s annual communities and schools exhibition has this year invited artist Kai-Oi Jay Yung to create Amongst Dark Trees, A Clearing.

The show explores the idea of loss and hope with stories of an obsessive compulsive ex-hoarder and scientific treatments, meditation and the mystical chakra energy centres.

This exhibition includes a series of videos, drawings, sound responsive light installations and hand-sewn crafted works created through Yung’s engagement with schools, communities and the wider public.
