The March preview of Caffรฉ Dolce’s art exhibition will be showing on Thursday 7ย March 2013 from 6-8pm.ย This monthly event is quickly becoming the place for local artists to showcase their work and display just how exciting our burgeoning Blackpool art scene is becoming.

This month’s show promises to be a particularly compelling one. The top floor will be exhibiting works selected from the Photography Courses run by Lytham St Anne’s Technology and Performing Arts College, displaying an inspiring and vibrant array of artistic approaches by our up-and-coming local talent.

Displaying on the ground floor are Rachel Gillibrand’s pop-style portraits. Rich in pop culture, her work uses bold and striking imagery to recreate portraits of modern icons.

The preview evenings are a great chance to have a look around and take your time and view the artworks at your leisure in Caffรฉ Dolce’s elegant and contemporary surroundings, with an opportunity to meet the artists and perhaps sample some of the excellent food and drink available to purchase. Don’t miss out on this fantastic evening, and the chance to mingle and network with other artists and like-minded souls.

The preview evening is free of charge but attendees must present this ticket upon arrival or show it on their smart phone.
