COMPETITION: Nick Cave gig tickets giveaway

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are performing this Friday night at the Blackpool Opera House, one of 20 UK shows, and we have tickets to give away.

Previously members of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, formed in 1983, the Australian rock band created a stir in the alternative rock, post-punk, and gothic rock genre. On the back of 17 studio albums, they have also had numerous international tours and hit songs such as Do you love me? and Into My Arms. Memorably, Nick Cave duetted with Kylie Minogue on the track Where the Wild Roses Grow which charted in the UK top twenty in 1995.

Having composed and recorded together, in the form of film and TV scores, now working as a duo, Nick Cave and multi-instrumentalist long-term Bad Seed member Warren Ellis are now touring on the back of their 2021 lockdown album Carnage. The first entire collection of songs by the pair, it took them three days to write and was well received by critics. The Daily Telegraph declared Carnage “the greatest lockdown album yet”.

The pair will be joined onstage by musician Johnny Hostile and backing singers Janet Ramus, Wendi Rose and T Joe Cole. The it’s set to be a unique and unforgettable experience, having received rave reviews so far from the likes of The Guardian, The Times and NME.
