Caffe Dolce’s monthly exhibitions have become a highlight of the local arts scene, giving artists the opportunity to showcase their work and providing fantastic opportunities for networking and socialising at the preview evenings.
This month we’ll be treated to urban and digital work from two fantastic artists in the comfortable surroundings of Caffe Dolce with a great selection of coffee and culinary delights on offer. If you’re around town on Thursday, why not head down to the preview evening which takes place from 6pm; it’s a great chance to meet other creatives from the local area and to admire the artwork.
June’s exhibition will see the downstairs space play host to local digital artist Sean Payne and upstairs will have work from urban artist Jay Sharples (soon to be seen appearing at Sand, Sea & Spray 2013) giving two different styles to choose from. Whether you’re a regular of the monthly previews or a newcomer, this is an evening not to be missed – and of course if you can’t make it, the exhibition will be on show throughout June for those who are out and about in town during the day.
Caffe Dolce’s June Exhibition Preview is open Thursday from 6-8pm. For more information about the preview visit the Facebook Event. You can follow Sean Payne on Twitter: @Blakes8th and you can find out more about Jay Sharples on his website at http://jaysharplesart.blogspot.co.uk.
