All aboard the Charabanc

Duncan Hodgson gives you the low down on Blackpool’s newest vintage and hand-craft boutique, Charabanc, set to bring fun and individual local fashion back to the high street.

Friday night see’s the launch of Blackpool’s newest boutique, selling vintage and hand-crafted items for you and your home. Beautiful vintage fashion, stylish furniture, individual and quirky jewellery, gifts and homewares and so much more. The fabulous new boutique is a collaboration between local craft and vintage sellers; Achtland Boutique, Aunty Social, Dotty Delightful and Par la Mar.

This hidden gem, tucked away in King Street, will hold it’s launch from 7pm onwards on Friday 24th August 2012 in a flurry of creativity and cupcakes. On the night you are encouraged to head down and browse the wide selection of exciting local products in the unique Charabanc shop setting. Also on the night you’ll be treated to some complimentary drinks and specially prepared cakes made by The Ginger Baker – plus live vintage-style entertainment.

For the fashionistas amongst us there will be a competition for the best dressed vintage singleton or couple, with the winner receiving £20 to spend in Charabanc – a prize not to be missed so make sure you’re looking your best! On top of this Charabanc has arranged for an extra pop-up shop just down the street full of local crafts, vintage clothes and much more.
