Beach House Blackpool welcomed guests to the Tower Vista terrace on Friday for the launch of its new Summer Cocktail Menu – and with a live saxophonist, sea views and a bit of spice, it didn’t disappoint.
There’s nowhere else in Blackpool like the Beach House’s Tower Vista terrace on a golden summer evening, and Friday’s launch of the venue’s new Summer Cocktail Menu proved exactly why.
As the sun dipped beneath the Irish sea, a live saxophonist gave the whole night that unmistakable beach club feel – demonstrating what a summer night out in Blackpool can be.
From the moment we were handed arrival drinks of summery sangria, owners Hagop and Cheryl Tchobanian, with their cute little Maltipoo Kenzo, were on hand, chatting and making sure every guest felt looked after. That sense of hospitality extended to the staff too, including Freya and Alfie who went above and beyond – even sending over a complimentary limoncello that rounded off the night perfectly.

The new cocktail menu has plenty of fun twists. The Citrus Soufflé and Raspberry Daisy were delicate and refreshing standouts, while the Midori Sour added a welcome tang to the evening. The Spicy Margarita should come with a warning – it packed some real heat – but if you want the flavour without quite as much fire, the Spicy Pineapple Marg is a mellower, fruitier alternative and just as moreish.

The classics aren’t forgotten either, with a beautifully balanced Cosmopolitan and a couple of expertly shaken Espresso Martinis doing the rounds. Alcohol-free options were being taken just as seriously with Almave – Lewis Hamilton’s non-alcoholic blue agave spirit taking its place on the virgin menu.
Expertly crafted pizza, sliders, calamari, chicken skewers and corn ribs kept arriving throughout the evening, all cooked with real care and gone almost as soon as they appeared.

But as on any clear summer night here, it was the sunset that stole the show. Watching the sky turn orange and pink over the Irish Sea, drink in hand, saxophone drifting across the terrace was a moment to remind you that when the sun’s out and the vibe is right, there’s no need to be anywhere else in the world.
