Preview: Big Diwali Party 2013

This glittering celebration of authentic Indian culture, food and live entertainment takes place on Saturday 2 November at The Winter Gardens. The Big Diwali Party is hosted by Nritya Sangam in the beautiful Spanish Hall and The Windsor Suite.

Diwali is celebrated by Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities across the world. Also known as the Festival of Lights, translated it means a row of lamps and these burn in homes throughout the night and represent good over evil and light against darkness.

This year’s celebration at The Winter Gardens begins at 6.30pm and goes on until 1.00am. It’s family friendly and features an abundance of entertainment and authentic Indian food – a three course buffet is included in the ticket price.  There will be entertainment in the form of Indian Classical, Bollywood, Bhangra and Folk Dance. Dance floor sounds are provided by International D.J. Squad, Supreme Dream and D.J. Fusion Dhalia.

So for scrumptious food, non-stop entertainment and a glimpse into a fascinating and lively culture, head down to The Winter Gardens on Saturday 2 November.

Tickets are £35 for adults (age 10+), £10 for children aged 3-10 and free for the under 3s.  To book phone 078 777 808 53 or email [email protected].
