Supercollider is back. This Friday (8th November) welcomes the latest exhibition to the Cookson Street contemporary gallery space. Never afraid to evolve, Supercollider hosts DUMB SHADOW, a traditional painting and sculpture show. With the Supercollider critical eye trained on the challenging and conceptual, I’m sure what we will be presented with will be far from traditional.
With the mantra ‘application, alteration and aspiration’, DUMB SHADOW explores surface as the major key to the experience to the show. Three artists are onboard for the show; James Parkinson, Sebastian Jefford and Menna Cominetti. A brief google of the artists throws up a tantalising glimpse of what we can expect.
Supercollider’s windows are being tinted as we speak and a new interaction with the gallery space is on the cards. This maybe a little short notice, but if you can make it down to Supercollider for Friday’s opening night from 7-9pm you will be sure of an evening of Supercollider’s usual mix of great work and lively debate.
Dumb Shadow Runs from 8-30th of November.
