Funny females to turn on Charm Offensive

They may have celebrated thirty years in the business in 2013, but Fascinating Aida have lost none of their love of biting humour – as Blackpool audiences can see for themselves on Sunday, February 23.

Blackpool’s Grand Theatre is all set to welcome the fun and satirical threesome live on stage with their brand new Charm Offensive Tour. Otherwise known as Dillie Keane, Adele Anderson and Liza Pulman, Fascinating Aïda are world-renowned for their unique form of cabaret-style catchy songs and audacious wit.

They’re one of Britain’s best-loved comedy trios, and renowned for their filthy, charming and sharply clever entertainment. Charm Offensive is a new show for 2014.

With an acerbic humour, Fascinating Aïda pull apart the institutions that the British public know so well, never failing to entertain audiences in the process. From songs about budget airlines to school inspection organisation Ofsted – no one escapes their shrewd observations.

In October 2013 their brand new Song For Teachers became a YouTube success, earning 100,000 hits in the first seven days of posting. Fascinating Aida followed this with their outrageous Christmas Carol which amassed 60,000 hits on Christmas Day alone! Fans can expect all these songs and more when the trio bring their Charm Offensive Tour to The Grand as a fitting finale to the Showzam spectacular.

Founded in 1983, Fascinating Aida have played to packed theatres across the UK and Ireland. They have also toured Australia three times as well as playing to audiences in New Zealand, New York, Berlin, South Africa and Singapore. Throughout their career, the trio has been nominated for numerous awards, winning Best Musical Act in the London Cabaret Awards in 2013.

“The glamour is magnetic, the satire razor-sharp, the lyrics brilliant” – The Guardian

“See them before you die otherwise your life will have been meaningless” – Mail on Sunday

The show starts at 7.30pm. All seats are £21.00. For tickets, call The Grand Box Office on 01253 74 33 39 or visit the website.
