Bonfire Night sees the Alfresco Firework Spectacular take place at Blackpool Cricket Club from 5pm.

The Vic in Lytham plays host to Singing by the Seaside open mic night from 8.30pm.

Tuesday

All female theatre company The Gramophones perform their new production, End to End, at Blackpool Sixth Form from 6.30pm.

Wednesday

12 Degrees North Dance Company arrives in town at The Grand Theatre from 8pm.

Thursday

Author Adrian Barnes launches his new book, NOD, at Blackpool Waterstones from 10.30am.

Author Lesley Pearse comes to Blackpool to reveal the secret to her bestselling success at Central Libary from 7.15pm.

Friday

Kunt and the Gang play at The Blue Room from 8pm.

Smokin’ Monkey play at The Old Bridge Inn from 9.30pm.

Saturday

Blackpool’s Big Diwali Celebration Party comes to The Winter Gardens from 7pm.

Touch the Pearl play at The Venue in Cleveleys from 9pm.
