On Wednesday 9 July, Blackpool Promenade was turned pink as almost three thousand women joined forces to Race for Life. The weather was glorious and there were smiles aplenty as the brightly clothed groups powered their way to success, raising thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK too! Here’s a selection of snapshots of the event from the Twitterverse. Congratulations from the altBlackpool team to everybody who ran and all the volunteers who helped it happen! You’re amazing.
