The World Firework Championships continued on Friday 12 September with the offering of the Austrian team, Lukasser Design.ย Operatic music orchestrated the pops and bangs of the firecrackers bursting in green, pink and gold. Pink dots illuminated the night sky, and hung there momentarily. The sky resembled a spattered action painting soon after when energetic flashes of light dominated the dark evening.ย There were delicate pink explosions which imitated the beauty of cherry blossom and remained in their shape until they faded away with a subtle stream of elegance and showers of silver, white and red cascaded downwards as the show got into its stride.
The dramatic music flowed with passion as the fireworks continued. In a graceful style the fireworks became faster and louder, as lines of gold embraced the sky. The final explosions of Austria’s show went off with great proficiency, as the crowd showed their appreciation. Austria this week really achieved what they set out to do and made a ‘canvas without a frame’.
Next Friday is Canada. The show is likely to begin approximately 8.30pm.ย For the full list of teams and dates, see our preview.
