Panto Chance for Young Performers

It’s panto season again…

Oh yes it is! Well, it isn’t actually, but the Lowther Pavilion is getting ahead of the game this year. That’s why they’re running auditions on Sunday, June 21, for an all-singing, all-dancing chorus of boys and girls, aged between nine and 18, who are full of personality and can move well.

This year’s show is Cinderella, and it is being billed as “the most spectacular pantomime that has ever been staged at the Lowther Pavilion” with a professional West End and celebrity cast.

For the run of the performances there will be professional principal actors and three casts of children’s chorus who will alternate performances. If your youngster is stage struck, then this is a great chance to perform in front of thousands of people.

Auditions will take place at the Lowther Pavilion on June 21, from 1pm to 4pm.

Children must be no younger than nine by September 1, 2015. Parents will be asked to sign their child in and return to collect them at 4pm. No parents will be allowed into the auditorium while auditions are taking place.

Please note that you will not need to bring any audition material with you on the day as it will be provided by Polka Dot Pantomimes. This ensures that everyone is auditioned fairly from the same material. During the audition they will play some games and teach everyone a short dance routine.

If this sounds like a dream come true, email the team at: [email protected] for an application form. Good luck!
