The Grundy Art Gallery is looking for seven volunteers to assist the artist, Serena Korda, in the making of a film for her forthcoming summer exhibition, ‘Aping the Beast’. The film will be a contemporary re-enactment of The Battle of River Plate and will be filmed inside the Tower Circus. The Grundy need seven strong and able bodied volunteers who will work as a team to puppeteer a 15ft monster and animate other props for the film.

This is a fantastic opportunity for several enthusiastic volunteers to get involved in the making of the film. The filming day will most likely take place during the first week of February. There will also be the chance to take part in a live performance in June as part of the exhibition. If you are interested in being involved and are aged 18 or over contact The Grundy Art Gallery using the details below.

You can call The Grundy Art Gallery on 01253 478170 or email them at [email protected]. You can also like them on Facebook here.
