Homing at Supercollider
Homing at Supercollider

The folks at Supercollider are yet again bringing the latest in contemporary art to the town of Blackpool. Dedicated to the presentation of diverse practice, the gallery aims to develop intellectual engagement, debate and participation with showcased work.

The doors open on 11 January for the first exhibition of 2013, featuring artist Max Stolkin in his latest show Homing. The exhibition, which will run until 2 February, is the result of recent developments within Stolkin’s own work. As an American born artist, educated in Germany and now exhibiting in the UK, he uses his own experiences to explore notions of ‘home’ within the new concepts of globalisation and digital media streams. Taking the increasingly globalised world into account he uses such ideologies to produce a platform discussion at the gallery.

The preview of Homing will be held on Friday 11 January, 7-9pm, at Supercollider’s new space at 59 Cookson Street, Blackpool.
