Tuesday night saw the annual two-wheeled takeover of Blackpool promenade for the special illuminations preview that is Ride the Lights. Hundreds of cyclists took to their bikes as the full promenade was closed to traffic for a couple of balmy hours. altBlackpool’s Jill Reidy was there to snap a piece of the action – can you spot yourself in our gallery?

Andy has a unique connection with his subjects and has captured legends like Rowan Atkinson and Victoria Wood. He is the go-to photographer for many modern favourites like Rosie Jones and Romesh Ranganathan. This exhibition celebrates the people that make Britain laugh!
Tickets: Free but there is charge* to visit the rest of the museum.
