With his sharp suits and seeming lack of fear when it comes to taking photos, aquatic dangerman Joseph Pegler is back in town.
Joseph’s art showcase The Lucky Jotter is back in Blackpool for its 8th show. Since forming four years ago The Lucky Jotter has been curating work of the highest calibre around the country. What makes this show nicer is that this year’s show is at Pegler’s alma mater Blackpool and Fylde college.
What can we expect from the show? Well I’ll leave it to Mr Pegler to tell us…
“This exhibition will showcase the very best work from our featuring artists, focusing on beauty and the simplicity of modern art. Featuring artists will included award winning artists from the United States, Norway, Scotland and many more.
“In addition, we’re delighted to have partnered up with Klein Imaging, a UK based fine art production house, to produce prints for selected artists featuring in the show.”
So there you have it, a great chance to see some international contemporary art and to buy something nice for yourself while you’re there. altblackpool will be there to review so stay tuned for full coverage.
The Lucky Jotter’s 8th Exhibition runs 3 of October to 18 of November. There is a private view (all welcome) on the 5 of October 6pm-8pm. The exhibition is hosted in The Gallery, University Centre, Bennett Avenue, Blackpool, FY1 4DW. For more information visit the Lucky Jotter website.
