Sign and Send… Wordpool’s Town Centre Poetry Trail

Following on from award winning poet Mandy Coe’s masterclasses in SeptemberWordpool’s Town Centre Poetry Trail has been created in shop windows around Blackpool. The windows will showcase four poems selected by Mandy created during the master classes in local schools and libraries.

Mandy was also commissioned to create a poem especially for this project which will feature in one of the windows.  The trail starts from Grundy Art Gallery where you can pick up a Discover Arts Award booklet to help guide families around the trail, available for £1.

You can visit the trail from Friday 7 October. Award winning illustrators Emily and Anne have created the artwork accompanying the poems and Mandy Coe was commissioned to write a poem especially for this project. This project has been support by Blackpool BID and Arts Council England.
