The focus is on young musicians, Norman and Bobby, who are competing to win a national song writing competition – and the attention of Sue, the coolest girl at the Youth Club. This leaves Laura, Bobby’s talented song writing partner, waiting in the wings to be noticed.

Inspired by the multi-million selling albums of the same name, the show boasts a string of favourites from the 50’s and 60’s including C’mon Everybody, Shakin’ All Over and Bobby’s Girl.

Winter Gardens Managing Director, Michael Williams said: “Dreamboats and Petticoats is a fantastic show to welcome to the Winter Gardens next year. This is one of the ultimate feel-good shows and is guaranteed to get audiences up on their feet and dancing in the aisles. “

Dreamboats and Petticoats is part of a strong mainstream programme of shows to play in 2016/17, including hits such as La Cage Au Folles, Sister Act and Hairspray.

Tickets for Dreamboats and Petticoats are priced from £17 and are available from www.wintergardensblackpool.co.uk.
