After great successes with The Elves and The Shoemaker and Madame Butterfly, Northern Ballet Theatre return to The Grand’s stage on Thursday 30 March 2017 with a brand-new retelling of the children’s classic Goldilocks & the Three Bears.

Bringing this renowned children’s story to life, Goldilocks & the Three Bears is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre for the first time.

Goldilocks is a mischievous little girl with hair as bright as gold. Always on the look-out for an adventure, one day her curiosity leads her to a house full of many surprises. With a family of friendly bears, a beautiful blue bird and bowls of delicious porridge, this ballet is just right!

Northern Ballet is the busiest touring ballet company in the UK and is typically on the road for around 32-weeks of the year. The Company of 48 dancers tours a combination of full-length new work and established repertoire to cities throughout the UK and is the only large scale ballet company to do so.

The Company tours widely with its ballets for children, the first two of which were adapted for TV by CBeebies, including Ugly Duckling and Tortoise & the Hare, Northern Ballet’s Short Ballets for Small People are not to be missed.

Goldilocks & The Three Bears is on at Grand Theatre Blackpool, Thursday 30 March at 2pm and 4pm. All tickets cost £6.50 and can be booked by calling Box Office on 01253 290 190 or visiting the website.
