With books, stand up, poetry evenings and a blindingly good show of sci-fi recollections under his belt Colin Davies is fast becoming a one man industry of top notch creative output, get in to see him now because very soon he will be hitting the big time and we will have to share him with the rest of the world.
You will be able to see him this November in the large yet still intimate setting of Blackpool’s Catholic Club in the dual performer evening ‘Speaking of Empty Fields’. Davies will performing his new show ‘Random’ for the first half and then will be teaming up with folk darling Ian Bailey, for the second half of the evening of music and poetry.
Ian Bailey will be performing songs from his five star (maverick) album ‘Empty Fields’ interspersed with Davies poetical responses, responses to an album of songs with what Folkwords magazine called a “personal, almost private touch… (filled with) significance and meaning. Bailey stands as a most perceptive songwriter.”
So an evening of words and music from two performers who are at the top of their game. It’s a ticket only event and will sell out fast, so book early and take the opportunity to see and hear Speaking Of Empty Fields.
Speaking of Empty Fields is one night only on 17 November and tickets are available here priced £5.
