Want To Make 2018 With Left Coast?

Left Coast have been celebrating the efforts of their ‘Maker’ volunteers this week, and reaching out to those who would like to get involved next year.

Events facilitated by the volunteer Left Coast Makers during 2017 included:-

  • ‘Depart’ by CIRCA, a crepuscular piece in the iconic Stanley Park
  • The annual Spare Parts Festival now an established part of Fleetwood’s Tram Sunday
  • ‘Rear View’ by IOU, a thought provoking piece where the audience were escorted round Blackpool viewing from the back of a converted double decker bus
  • Support to several of the events in the autumn half term Lightpool Festival

The tasks undertaken by volunteers vary depending on the nature of the event, but generally involve making sure the live performance goes as smoothly as possible as part of the event or behind the scenes.

There are also social activities for team members, the most recent being a Christmas event this week at Bootleg Social.

If you are potentially interested further details and a registration form can be found at www.leftcoast.org/leftcoast-makers/.
