Preview – Craig Charles, Bootleg Social 30 December

On the eve of New Year’s Eve the firm favourite Craig Charles will be taking to the decks to play his own special mix of soul, northern soul and disco – always a popular event in Blackpool’s event diary and one not to be missed.

It has been 14 years since Craig Charles started his radio show on 6 Music and he is still one of the most popular music shows the station hosts. If you have never witnessed Craig playing live you are in for a treat, the atmosphere is tangible and dancing is a definite. Craig Charles is responsible for popularising tracks such as Hot 8 Brass Bands brilliant interpretation of ‘Sexual Healing’, and renowned for playing interesting reworks of straight up classics like Grandmaster Flash‘s ‘White Lines’.

This should be a perfect way to round up the end of 2017 and a great pre New Year roundup. Support acts to be announced soon. Doors 9pm till 4am. Tickets £12 plus 50p booking fee from  http://bootlegsocial.co.uk/events/ or £15 on the door, but I would not risk that, as it is sure to sell out.

See you on the dancefloor.
