New Blackpool Documentary comes to Central Library

Blackpool cinematic-rock band blanket are pleased to reveal the full version of their documentary โ€˜Fragments of a Dreamโ€™, a short film about their northern hometown shot and sound-tracked entirely by the band themselves.
The news comes alongside a newly announced album release show on 20th June in London at Thousand Island to cap off their upcoming EU tour dates with Noir Reva.

Special Blackpool Screening
The band are also pleased to announce they will be hosting a special Q&A and screening of the film at Blackpool Central Library on 9th June 2018. Following the film, members of blanket will be taking to the stage for an extra special short acoustic set, and fans will also have the chance to see an exhibition of the original album artwork pieces and sample some great vegan food (included in ticket price โ€“ see below for links).

Gavin Wrigley of the European Bartender School will also be in attendance at the event creating some amazing exclusive cocktails especially for the occasion, served at a cash bar with non-alcoholic alternatives.

More info can be found on the official Facebook event HERE.

Narrated by Robert Foulds, directed by front man Bobby Pook, and sound-tracked by the band, the film features excerpts and tracks from their debut full length album How To Let Go, which is out now via Music For Nations (Sony) on CD, vinyl and digital formats, available to purchase now: http://smarturl.it/BK_HTLG

The albumโ€™s lead single โ€˜Worlds Collideโ€™ was recently added to the Spotify New Music Friday playlist, and has received airplay from Alex Baker at Kerrang! Radio and Daniel P Carter at the BBCR1 Rock Show. Support for the band has been steadily building over the past year at the likes of The Independent, PROG Magazine, Classic Rock, UPSET, Louder and Kerrang! Magazine.

How To Let Go is out now via Music For Nations
